first pianist to play on the HCC's newly acquired Pramberger piano

Balázs Szokolay,
one of Hungary’s best pianists, was born into a family of
musicians in Budapest. He has
given concerts and offered master classes in over 30 countries;
has been a prizewinner at many
international piano and chamber music competitions and was
awarded the prestigious Liszt Prize.
His repertoire covers a wide range of
styles with a strong focus on chamber music.
