The Hungarian Consulate, in
cooperation with the
Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum, celebrated the Lifetime
Achievement Award presented to internationally renowned Hungarian-born
designer and ceramist Eva Zeisel, on November 9th at the Consulate.
The occasion also served as
a birthday celebration for Eva Zeisel who turned 99 on November 13,
2005. Members of the Board and high-level supporters of the
Cooper-Hewitt Museum, and critics and admirers of Eva Zeisel’s works
have been present. Mr. David Klein and Mr. James Reid, owners of the
ceramic studio
KleinReid producing some of Eva Zeisel’s classical and
contemporary designs, also participated in a live podium discussion
with the artist. |
