The 70-member Béla
Bartók Choir and University Orchestra of Eötvös Lóránd
University in Budapest was founded by director Gábor Baross in
1948. The Choir has won numerous international choral
competitions and completed more than 30 concert tours in Europe
and North America.
The Choir returned
for the first time to New York following their successful 1997
